Cancellation and Refund Policy

It is our general policy that we will work with you to attempt to achieve a mutually beneficial outcome, however ITANA reserves the right to change the date, speakers or program from that as advertised. From time to time this is unavoidable.

As a volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation, ITANA reserves the right in our absolute discretion and without further liability to cancel the program, in which case all event fees will be refunded but no travel related expenses will be reimbursed.

We do not provide refunds if participants choose to cancel as described below. We strongly suggest you send a replacement in the event you are unable to attend.

1. PAYMENT

1.1. Event, forum or course payment is due prior to the commencement date unless prior written and agreed arrangements with ITANA have been made, this enables us to keep our costs and prices to a minimum.

1.2. All fees and charges are payable in Australian dollars ($AUD), via the ITANA bank account or online payment gateway, upon receipt of an invoice, payment terms for training events are 14 days.

1.3. Non-payment of monies owing may result in cancellation of an enrolment, or other penalties and recovery of the outstanding amount through debt collection.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.

2. CANCELLATION AND REFUND

2.1. Cancellation by Participant

2.1.1 The effective date of the notice of cancellation is the date it is received by ITANA.

2.1.2 If the notice of cancellation is received (effective date):

  • More than 120* days prior to the course commencement date: 100% of the course fee will be refunded, minus the merchant fees incurred for payment by credit card.

  • Between 60-119 days* prior to the course commencement date: 75% of the course fee will be refunded, minus the merchant fees incurred for payment by credit card.

  • Between 30-59 days* prior to the course commencement date: 50% of the course fee will be refunded, minus the merchant fees incurred for payment by credit card.

  • Between 15-29 days* prior to the course commencement date: 30% of the course fee will be refunded, minus the merchant fees incurred for payment by credit card.

  • Up to 14 days* prior to the course commencement date: 0% of the course fee will be refunded.

2.1.3 All cancellations must be received in writing.

2.2. Cancellation by ITANA

2.2.1 ITANA reserves the right to cancel any course that does not meet the minimum enrolment numbers; or in the event of exceptional circumstances, however this will not be less than 7* days prior to the training date.

2.2.2 All course cancellations by ITANA must be in writing (notice of cancellation) and made visible on the website and to registered participants prior to the event occurring.

2.2.3 Where cancellation occurs, ITANA will provide (where possible) alternative dates for course delivery; or similar courses; or a full refund of the course fees, minus merchant fees for payment by credit card.

2.2.4 ITANA will not be responsible for consequential costs or any travel related expenditure resulting from cancelled courses.
